I was looking for a dress for our Vow Renewal
after 12 years of marriage. I wore a big white
wedding dress when we first married, so what I
wanted this time was a gown that I could wear
again. I had a very specific idea of a 2-in-1 dress
with a removable skirt, open back and I wanted it
to be made out of an embroidered fabric
resembling that of an Indian sari.
I found Olwen only by chance through a Google
search, and what a lucky find that was. Olwen
took on the challenge, she realised my ideas, but
what’s more she created this beautiful work of art.
I admire Olwen’s talent, the skill and patience it
requires to take an idea and make it into a
beautiful garment. The dress looks amazing and I
